Services Provided:

Momentum, in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO), developed and deployed a mobile messaging platform aimed at improving vaccination compliance among mothers and caregivers in Balochistan. This innovative platform features automatic calculation of due dosage durations based on children’s birth records, ensuring timely vaccination reminders. Comprehensive research was also conducted to evaluate the platform’s effectiveness in enhancing vaccination adherence.

  1. Notifications of Technical Working Group: Received and reviewed notifications from the Technical Working Group to align the platform’s development with health and technology standards.
  2. Orientations for IT Development: Conducted orientations from the program team to IT experts, focusing on the creation of a digital application for messaging parents and caregivers about children’s vaccinations.
  3. Piloting of Messaging System: Tested the IT messaging system with select use cases to refine functionality and ensure effective communication.
  4. Field Data Collection: Collected actual data from field sites in Swabi and Quetta to assess the platform’s performance in real-world conditions.
  5. Regular Immunization Messaging: Implemented consistent messaging to key representatives, including district medical officers and health workers, to notify parents, guardians, and caregivers about vaccination schedules.
