Momentum experts conducted comprehensive research on the Out of School Children (OOSC) in Pakistan. This involved collation of data about social indicators, especially poverty levels, which focused on the reasons leading to increase in OOSCs.  This research contributed to the indicators for the education sector while preparing the MDG plans 2000-2015.
