Evaluation of the Early Recovery Support for Flood-Affected Families Project
About ProjectÂ
The project aims to reduce morbidity and mortality in flood-affected families by improving access to safe drinking water, supporting livelihoods, and increasing resilience. Key interventions include enhancing WASH services, rehabilitating water channels, distributing livestock feed, and providing agricultural support. The focus is on vulnerable groups such as pregnant/lactating women, children under five, and people with special needs. CARE’s efforts will include improving hygiene practices, supporting irrigation channel repairs, distributing livestock feed and gardening packages, and providing wheat seeds and fertilizers.
Deliverables:
Momentum provided comprehensive evaluation services by first developing an inception plan and detailed work plan for the evaluation. This included creating and refining tools for household surveys, key informant interviews (KIIs), and focus group discussions (FGDs) with community members. We also developed guides and conducted training for field teams to ensure effective data collection. Our services encompassed rigorous data collection, entry, cleaning, and analysis. Finally, we produced a detailed evaluation report, incorporating feedback and presenting the findings in a consolidated format.
